Tatiana Podmarkova since 2007 works with the image of the human body in the classical aesthetics, creating timeless images. For the artist, an appeal to classical themes is an effective way to order the chaos of fragmentation of the modern world. Artistic practice is considered by the author as a stable form of escapism. Despite the apparent detachment of the scenes, each project Tatiana podmarkovoy soaked in the echoes of endless internal drama. Her images are not marked with a touch of time — clothes, accessories or household items. Naked nature unchanged amid centuries.

“Tatyana Podmarkova was born in 1973, in Prokopyevsk, Kemerovo region. In 2004 she graduated from the Novokuznetsk School of arts, Department of Easel painting. Workshop Bessonov Igor Borisovich. Lives and works in St. Petersburg (Studio “Unconquered”).
